Celebrity Fashion: LeBron James’ Diamond Sportswear from Nike

From the moment King James entered the NBA in 2003, he has been hitting us with his urban style. Now, aside from a Nike shoe line, LeBron James, along with his partners at Nike, released the Nike LeBron James Diamond Sportswear Collection.

Nike LeBron James Diamond Sportswear collection
This line is sure to make a mark on the urban fashion this fall. “Athletes probably have more influence on the style of younger men than anybody else,” says John Jones, fashion director of MR Magazine. And Lebron's style has been noted by ESPN recently, in Fashion: NBA stars are sporting man bags with them saying, "where the King goes, the NBA and its loyal subjects usually follow. "But Lebron is not solely responsible for his trendy looks. Lebron James is helped by his personal fashion stylist, Rachel Johnson.

With “Urban Renaissance” as the inspiration, the collection is a balance of sophistication and urban swag.

Check it out for yourself:

Check out the lead piece of the LeBron Diamond NSW collection: The LeBron Peacoat. Its leather sleeves and wool body are inspired by the Nike Destroyer jacket. The peacoat buttons and longer length will make it recognizable from afar and the satin-stitched lining doesn’t only make it feel luxurious, it automatically screams ‘MVP WEAR.’
Our editors’ pick is the The LeBron Virtus Hoodie, which stayed true to the urban fashion flavor with the AW77 hoodie style. The hoodie features a high-density jacquard label, embroidered lion on the left chest part and also a direct embroidery with chain stitch pull in the back’s center part.
For that preppy look Lebron often give you, get a get a nice Abercombie light blue button-down shirt to put under this LeBron Varsity Shawl Collar Cardigan, which embodies a heritage-rich look with classic varsity stripes. The Shawl collar shape is a true classic and the kangaroo pocket plus the collection’s embroidery makes this stand out. Pair this with a pair of nice-fitting jeans or a pair of your favorite classic Nike kicks such as these Sweet Classic Hi Sneakers (was $70, now $58.99):
For the true jock, this “Earned, not given” motto will always remind you how a three-time MVP lives his life.
And last but not the least, we’re loving the LeBron 6 Crew, which brings classy touches to a laid-back, off-court look with a cotton twill appliqué detail.
