Rihanna Debuts her High Fashion Line for River Island

Singer and style icon, Rihanna launched her first clothing line with British high-street retailer River Island on Saturday during London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013/14.

According to Yahoo News, "Models strutted in a line through a tiered catwalk of five square compartments at Rihanna's show, pausing in each to showcase midriff-bearing mesh tops and yellow shift dresses. Denim tops teamed with slouchy jeans and monochrome dresses with thigh-high slits mirrored the Barbados-born singer's dressed-down but raunchy style."

Rihanna (L) greets the audience after the Rihanna for River Island collection show during London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013/14 at The Old Sorting Office.

But not everyone is a fan of the threads Rihanna debuted at the fashion show. Some of the  critics described it as “’90s-inspired” or “skin-baring” and even a “horror show”, according to People Magazine's Alex Apatoff.  Fashion critics called RiRi's debut collection for being uninspired, underwhelming and just plain unattractive.

 Do you disagree?
