Style Story: Messiah

There’s this boy…
He’s from Harlem. He models (no, seriously. He’s signed with an agency). And he’s dope. I think you’d like to meet him.

Ladies and gents, Messiah

I met up with him outside of the Kid Robot store in Soho and got a few goodies for you.
Besides being one of the most consistently best styled guys I’ve seen in this city, he also dances and choreographs. Messiah is on a mission to land billboards in the modeling world. Notice it’s billboard plus an ‘S’. He’s also going to be the one to school mainstream America that not all black kids from Harlem live in Jordan’s and Ralph Lauren Polo’s. While doing that, he’s more than likely going to inspire a few people to tap into their own individual style and jump off of the fashion trend obsessed bandwagon. As far as shopping goes, Kid Robot and Y-3 are his go-to spots but he gives a lot of love to Uniqlo for their logo-less basic wardrobe staples. I asked him if he had to describe his style using one song, what song would it be. His answer: ‘Save the World Tonight’ by Swedish House Mafia. Excellent choice.
