Sawyer Takes a Soulful Alternative to the Bar with "Happy Hour"

The Philadelphia based band Sawyer has taken us on a jukebox mashup with their new album "Happy Hour." They brilliantly fuse the soulful sexiness of an era where bands like The Temptations and Four Tops crooned and we drank and twisted to the rock-n-roll sounds of Elvis Presley and Chubby Checker.

From beginning to end, Sawyer's new musical project is an energetic musical medley with sweet harmonies in "Sleep" and beautiful melody of "Down Motown." The album is choc full of real life lyrics...

"If its my life I wanna live like its mine
Everything I do is up to me to decide"

The group is currently working with Dope Hitz Entertainment and is looking to go mainstream very soon.

How would you describe your sound?
Our sound is heavily influenced by Motown, as well as Bruce Springsteen and Green Day.

If you could collab with any artists, who would it be?
Would like to collab with Lord Huron.

Does your music influence your fashion style?
It's dive bar music, so we're the blue jeans and T-shirt type.
