Morgan King, a multi-genre recording artist recently released a new song that creatively tells the emotional and intimate story of a woman struggling with suicidal thoughts and a yearning for self-love and worth. The debut solo single by the singer is a rock-influenced pop track entitled Mirror, Mirror.
Sonically, Mirror, Mirror uses a simple yet driving piano loop set against rich percussive elements. King's heartfelt lyrics are profound. She sings, "there's a monster in the mirror begging to be free."Morgan’s solo music combines elements of pop, old-school emo music, trap, and electronic sounds. Aside from her solo project, she also releases music as 88 Smiles and performs as part of the post-hardcore band, The Stars Lie.
