KICKS: Hottest New Summer Sneaker Arrivals... Nike Zoom Kobe VII, Lebron 9 South Beach, Adidas Original Top Court

NIKE LEBRON 9 P.S. ELITE “MIAMI VICE”

The Nike LeBron 9 has done a near perfect job of combining on court performance with off court style. The performance aspect of the shoe was taken to another level at the beginning of the NBA Playoffs when the Elite model was first released. Now, the style has reached an all time high and caught up with the performance with today’s release of the Miami Vice colorway of the LeBron 9 Elite. Whether you plan to rock these at your weekly pickup game or out on a Saturday night, it will be pretty hard to go wrong with a pair of these laced up (or unlaced) on your feet. The Miami Vice features a wolf grey upper with pink and mint accents. The black carbon fiber also lends itself to the makeup of the shoe in the heel counter and wing. The upper is made with Nike’s Hyperfuse technology and includes Kevlar-made Flywire along the sides. Originally dubbed the “South Beach,” this release is sure to be one of the most popular releases if the LeBron 9 line.

House of Hoops locations were selling them for $250. Most retailers have sold out of these sneakers.

The Nike Zoom Kobe VII basketball shoe features a highly durable, cast polyurethane shell upper that provides durability and a performance fit. Mesh placed under the shell adds ventilation and a graphic pattern that tells the predator story. Next-generation Flywire technology offers lightweight support and lockdown. 3-D heel clip made of injected TPU is molded closer to the midfoot to enhance stability and add a lockdown fit. Attack Fast drop-in midsole made of Phylon™ with Nike Zoom™ units in the heel and forefoot delivers a lightweight, responsive ride that's built for speed. Solid rubber outsole with triangular traction pattern and strategically placed, high-wrapping lateral outriggers provides lateral stability and performance enhancing grip in a lightweight form. Flex grooves allow the shoe to move naturally with the foot for enhanced articulation and flexibility.

The Adidas Originals Top Court Hi FS brings back that mid-80s basketball shoe style we loved then and can't get enough of now. It combines a leather upper with a padded collar for super-durable style, 3-Stripes® details and a vulcanized rubber outsole with the adidas wordmark and Trefoil. But I prefer the Hi-Court sneakers released last year (see below)

for flexibility and grip.
