As you can see from the music visual, Ladi Anne is a beautiful soul in side and out which really shines bright on her new single entitled, "New Renaissance". Her look gives me Lisa Bonet, and her her sound is an eclectic blend of 90s/early 2000s R&B songstresses like Sade and Toni Braxton with modern touches of alternative hip hop and pop.
"It feels like the world is regressing..."
For her debut she has done an outstanding job. Watching the music video, "New Renaissance" makes references visually and in the lyrics, to the coronavirus, the unexplained hoarding of toilet paper, the history being made, and the apocalyptic feel of 2020.
While this is just the beginning for Ladi Anne, there's a vibe of permanence with this track. It's definitely one to add to the playlist.
